Gas Self-Closing Valve

A gas self-closing valve, referred to as a self-closing valve, is installed in the low-pressure gas system pipeline. When the pipeline air supply pressure appears underpressure or overpressure, without electricity or other external power, it can automatically close and requires a manual opening device. There is an essential difference. Boiler components focus on high pressure relief stability (usually pressure class 3-10bar), equipped with high temperature seals; water heaters focus on low pressure precision control (1- 3 bar), optimize exhaust efficiency; pressure vessels are used to strengthen material fatigue resistance, some need to comply with ASME BPVC standards, the core is to match the pressure, temperature and medium characteristics of the scene.

2. How to deal with quality problems within the warranty scope of the Safety Group Valve?

The warranty period is 18 months (calculated from the arrival date of the goods), far exceeding the industry standard of 12 months; if there are problems such as leakage due to manufacturing defects and abnormal take-off accuracy during the warranty period, we support two solutions: 1. Free replacement of new products of the same model and logistics costs;2. Overseas customers can provide video guidance.

3. What is Safety Group’s packaging?

The three-layer packaging of “independent bubble bag + customized foam box + five-layer corrugated box” is adopted, and the pressure gauge and other precision parts are additionally covered with protective sleeves; moisture proofing agent and shock-proof cushioning materials are placed in each box, and the outer box is marked with “precision instrument” and “light handling”; fumigation wooden pallets are used for fixation during batch shipping, which can effectively avoid the pressure deviation of safety valve caused by bumps.

4. What material does Safety Group use for seals?

EPDM is used for conventional seals, PTFE or silicone rubber is used for special scenarios; EPDM seals have an aging resistance life of 5 years and can be used stably under 80℃; it is recommended that the replacement cycle be synchronized with the equipment maintenance cycle (usually 2-3 years). The factory can provide spare parts kits that match the seals, facilitating future customer replacements.

5. If additional orders are required for bulk purchase, will the price be adjusted according to the fluctuation of raw materials in the market?

After the first batch order is signed, we will provide a price guarantee agreement. During the agreement period (normally 6 months, long-term customers can extend to 12 months), additional orders will be placed, and the price will not be affected by small fluctuations in raw materials (within ± 5%); If the raw materials increase by more than 5%, we will notify the customer in writing 15 days in advance to negotiate price adjustments or place orders in batches.

7. What is the material grade corresponding to the material used by Safety Group?

Brass material is CuZn39Pb3 (EU designation CW 617N), stainless steel is 304 (1.4301) or 316L (1.4404, optional); each batch of products can be provided with a material certificate (MTC), using EN 10204 3.1B level, including furnace number, chemical composition, and mechanical properties test data.

8. Is the pressure gauge range in the kit customizable?

Pressure gauge range can be customized according to needs (such as 0-2bar, 0-10bar), accuracy level is 1.6, can be upgraded to 1.0; interface type covers mainstream standards, including BSP (1/4″, 1/2″), NPT (1/4″, 3/8″), G thread, and metric thread, can be marked with customer-specified thread code.

9. Will there be freezing cracking problems in low-temperature environments?

The low temperature model adopts low temperature resistant brass (CW602N)+ EPDM seal, which can withstand a low temperature of-20℃. With internal anti-icing structure design, it will not freeze crack when used in cold areas, meeting the low temperature market demand of Northern Europe and Canada.
