This brass ball valve features a lock-wing handle. The wing works as both the control handle and the locking part. There is a hole in the wing for a padlock. 2. What is the connection method of the PEX gas ball valve?
The PEX interface utilizes a hot-melt socket connection to accommodate PEX-A and PEX-B pipes. The inner diameter of the conventional interface is 16mm, 20mm, and 25 mm. The wall thickness of the interface is ≥ 2.3 mm, and the insertion depth is strictly controlled at 12± 0.5 mm. 4. What is the accuracy class of the threaded connection of the PEX Gas Ball Valve?
PEX gas ball valve with external thread, thread accuracy in accordance with ISO 497 standard, grade 6g, thread profile angle 60°, pitch error ≤0.03mm, Plumberstar will use a thread go/ no-go gauge piece by piece inspection to ensure that the threaded connection is without leakage, suitable for standard pipe fittings.
5. What is the material of the PEX Gas Ball Valve handle?
The operating handle is made of glass fiber-reinforced nylon with a tensile strength of≥ 60 MPa. It is connected to the valve body through a stainless steel pin shaft with a diameter of ≥ 4mm. After the connection is made, the tensile force test shall be conducted. The tensile force ≥ 500N shall not be broken. After assembling the Plumberstar handle, the switch fatigue test shall be conducted 1000 times to ensure there is no looseness.
6. Can the flow coefficient of the PEX gas ball valve be adjusted?
Cv value can be adjusted according to customer’s pipeline flow demand, by optimizing the diameter of the ball flow passage, Cv value ≥2.5 for conventional 16mm specification, ≥4.0 for 20mm specification, ≥6.0 for 25mm specification, design flow and pressure difference shall be provided when customization, Plumberstar will optimize the flow passage with fluid simulation software to ensure that the demand is met.
7. Can a locking function be customized for the PEX gas ball valve?
The model with a locking function can be customized to suit your needs. The locking structure adopts a brass lock cylinder. The key insertion force is controlled at 5~15N. The torque after locking is ≥20N·m before it is damaged. Unauthorized operation is avoided. The Plumberstar locking structure will undergo an anti-theft test after assembly to ensure its safety.
8. What is the connection between the ball and the stem of the PEX Gas Ball Valve?
The ball connects to the valve stem through a keyway. The matching clearance of the keyway is ≤0.05mm.
