1. What is Pop-up Drain?

A pop-up Drain is a type of bathroom and industrial drainage accessory that controls the opening and closing of the drainage by pressing the spring structure. With the synergy between the spring and the seal in the valve core, the drainage channel can be opened and closed by applying light pressure, and the seal can be automatically reset after release. It is made of stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant material, suitable for mainstream pipe specifications, such as 3.5 inches. It features high drainage efficiency, convenient operation, deodorization, and insect prevention. It is widely used in scenes such as family toilets, kitchens, commercial catering areas, and industrial cleaning rooms. It is a new drainage solution to replace traditional flip floor drains.

2. Does the quotation for the Pop-up Drain include freight, customs duties, and other related costs?

Our Pop-up Drain base quotation does not include freight, customs duties, and customs clearance fees by default. The core of the quotation is the production cost and profit of the product itself.

Different modes of cooperation result in different cost components:

If EXW (ex works) terms are adopted, the cost only includes the product cost, and the subsequent inland transportation, export customs declaration, international freight, and import country customs duties are borne by the customer.

If FOB (free on board) terms, the quotation includes product cost and export customs charges, international freight, insurance, and customs duties to be borne by the customer.

If CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms are selected, the quotation covers the product cost, export customs declaration fee, international freight, and basic transportation insurance. Customs duties are still borne by the customer.

For large orders from long-term strategic customers, DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms can be negotiated, and the quotation will integrate all costs without additional costs for customers.

3. What parts does the “bounce” function of the Pop-up Drain mainly depend on to realize?

The “bounce” function of the bounce floor drain is primarily achieved through the integrated bounce valve core assembly, a set of precise and coordinated mechanical structures. The core contains three key parts: a high elastic return spring, a wear-resistant valve core body, and a sealing guide sleeve. Among them, the high-elastic return spring provides the core bouncing power, which is made of 304 stainless steel and strengthened by heat treatment, and has stable elastic recovery performance; the valve core body is made of special cast TMC nylon or ceramic material, the former is filled with glass fiber to enhance the structural strength, and the latter is ultra-high hardness to achieve low friction loss; the sealing guide sleeve is matched with the valve core, which not only ensures the accurate positioning of the bouncing process, but also realizes the water-stopping seal with the assistance of silicone sealing ring. When the floor drain cover plate is pressed, the valve core compresses the spring to store potential energy and drives the sealing member to separate from the drain port to realize opening; after the spring is released, the potential energy is released to push the valve core to reset and drive the sealing member to close, and the bouncing cycle of “pressing to open and releasing to close” is completed.

304 stainless steel springs have excellent corrosion resistance and are not easily oxidized in a humid or slightly acidic-alkaline drainage environment.

Taber wear test shows that the wear loss of TMC nylon valve core is only 0.42mg after 3000 revolutions, and its wear resistance is more than 4 times that of ordinary nylon 66, and it can maintain stable mechanical properties in the temperature range of -4 ℃ to 120℃;

4. How to avoid getting stuck in the Pop-up Drain?

A pop-up Drain to avoid stagnation can be achieved through product design and daily maintenance of two aspects.

The product end adopts a highly smooth TMC nylon or ceramic valve core with PTFE self-lubricating coating to reduce friction resistance. Meanwhile, reasonable clearance is reserved between the valve core and the guide sleeve to avoid impurity accumulation. The grille is designed with a large aperture or a detachable structure to prevent hair and debris from winding the valve core.

In daily use, it is necessary to regularly (such as monthly) disassemble the grille and valve core, wash the dirt, hair and other impurities attached to the surface with clean water, gently wipe with neutral detergent in case of stubborn dirt, avoid using sharp tools to damage the seal and valve core surface, and ensure that the floor drain main body is coaxial with the pipeline during installation to avoid uneven force on the valve core, which can effectively prevent stagnation.

5. What are the advantages of bouncing floor drains produced by Plumberstar compared to traditional flip floor drains?

6. How long is Plumberstar’s Pop-up Drain warranty?

Pop-up Drain of Plumberstar brand implements an industry-high standard warranty policy. The warranty period for stainless steel material is 3 years, and the warranty period for enhanced products customized for industrial high-load scenarios is extended to 5 years, calculated from the date of product delivery acceptance.

The warranty covers material defects of the product itself, such as main body cracking, process problems, including sealing failure, and core function failures, including bouncing structure stuck and unable to reset. However, it does not include problems caused by improper installation, artificial damage, beyond the scope of application of the product, or normal wear. Specific warranty details can be found in the purchase contract and product warranty card.

7. If Pop-up Drain has quality problems during warranty period, what is the handling process?

If quality problems occur during the warranty period of the Plumberstar brand bouncing floor drain, the handling process is as follows:

1. First, please contact us through the dedicated customer manager, official after-sales email, or hotline, providing supporting materials such as order number, product model, problem details, and photos/videos of faulty products;

2. We will respond within 24 hours, and the technical team will complete the problem verification and responsibility identification within three working days. If further verification is needed, we can negotiate and send back the problem samples (freight borne by us).

3. Confirmation is within warranty scope (not improper installation, artificial damage, etc.), will provide corresponding solutions according to the severity of the problem-minor faults free repair parts and attached guidance video, functional defects can be replaced with new products, batch problems support return refund or discount replenishment, repair parts/replacements after the solution is reached within 5-7 working days, return refund will be completed within three working days after receiving the returned product acceptance, Commercial project batch failures can coordinate on-site technical support.
