1. What is Pop-up Drain?

A pop-up drain is a drainage part used in bathrooms and industrial areas. It controls the opening and closing of the drainage by pressing the spring structure. With the synergy between the spring and the seal in the valve core, the drainage channel can be opened and closed by applying light pressure, and the seal can be automatically reset after release.
It features high drainage efficiency, convenient operation, deodorization, and insect prevention. It is widely used in scenes such as family toilets, kitchens, commercial catering areas, and industrial cleaning rooms. It is a new drainage solution to replace traditional flip floor drains.

2. What costs are included in the quotation for the pop-up drain device?

Our Pop-up Drain base quotation does not include freight, customs duties, and customs clearance fees by default. The core of the quotation is the production cost and profit of the product itself.

Different modes of cooperation result in different cost components:

If EXW (Ex Works) terms are used, the price only includes the product itself. All other costs, such as local transport in China, export customs, international shipping, and import duties in the destination country, are paid by the customer.

If FOB (Free on Board) terms are used, the price includes the product cost and export customs handling. International shipping, insurance, and import duties are still paid by the customer.

If CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms are chosen, the price covers the product, export customs fees, international shipping, and basic transport insurance. Import customs duties are still the customer’s responsibility.

For large orders from long-term partners, DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms can be discussed. Under DDP, all costs are included in one price, so customers do not need to pay extra fees.

3. What parts does the “bounce” function of the Pop-up Drain depend on to realize?

The “bounce” function of a bounce floor drain mainly comes from the built-in bounce valve core. This is a group of small parts that work together very closely. The valve core has three main parts: a strong return spring, a solid valve core body, and a sealing guide sleeve.

The return spring gives the bouncing power. It is made of 304 stainless steel and treated with heat, so it can spring back well and keep its strength for a long time. The valve core body is made of special TMC nylon or ceramic. Tests show that the TMC nylon valve core wears very little.

4. How to avoid getting stuck in the Pop-up Drain?

A pop-up Drain to avoid stagnation can be achieved through product design and daily maintenance of two aspects.

The product end adopts a highly smooth TMC nylon or ceramic valve core with PTFE self-lubricating coating to reduce friction resistance. Meanwhile, reasonable clearance is reserved between the valve core and the guide sleeve to avoid impurity accumulation. The grille is designed with a large aperture or a detachable structure to prevent hair and debris from winding the valve core. In daily use, it is best to clean it regularly, such as once a month.

5. What are the advantages of bouncing floor drains produced by Plumberstar?

Compared with traditional flip floor drains, bounce floor drains have many clear advantages and are easier to use.

First, they are more convenient to operate. The bounce floor drain uses a press-down bounce design. You only need to press it lightly to open or close the drain. There is no need to bend down or turn the cover by hand, which makes daily use much easier.

Second, the sealing and odor-blocking effect is more reliable. The bounce floor drain uses a spring valve core together with a silicone sealing ring. When it is closed, the sealing surface fits tightly with no gaps. Together with the water trap design, it can block sewer odors twice. Traditional flip floor drains often become loose over time because the cover can deform and the seal can age, so the odor-blocking effect gets worse more quickly.

Third, bounce floor drains have better anti-clogging performance. The grille fits closely with the drain body, and when the spring opens, the drainage channel is fully open. Water flows smoothly with less resistance, and hair or dirt is less likely to build up inside.

Finally, bounce floor drains adapt better to different spaces. The flat bounce design does not need much installation height, so it works well with thin tiles, floor heating systems, and similar floors. Traditional flip drains have raised hinges, which limit floor thickness and can easily cause water to collect around the tile edges.

6. How long is Plumberstar’s Pop-up Drain warranty?

The Plumberstar pop-up drain comes with a high-standard warranty policy.

For products made of stainless steel, the warranty is 3 years. For strengthened models made for heavy industrial use, the warranty is extended to 5 years. The warranty time starts from the date when the product is delivered and accepted.

The warranty covers material defects of the product itself, such as main body cracking, process problems, including sealing failure, and core function failures, including bouncing structure stuck and unable to reset. However, it does not include problems caused by improper installation, artificial damage, beyond the scope of application of the product, or normal wear. Specific warranty details can be found in the purchase contract and product warranty card.

7. If Pop-up Drain has quality problems during warranty period, what is the handling process?

If quality problems happen to a Plumberstar bounce floor drain during the warranty period, the process is simple and clear:

1. Contact us first. Please reach out through your dedicated customer manager, our official after-sales email, or the hotline. At the same time, provide basic information such as the order number, product model, a description of the problem, and photos or videos showing the issue.

2. Fast response and checking. We will reply within 24 hours. Our technical team will check the problem and confirm responsibility within three working days. If more checking is needed, we can discuss and ask for problem samples to be sent back, and the shipping cost will be paid by us.

3. Provide the right solution. If the problem is confirmed to be within the warranty scope (not caused by wrong installation or human damage), we will offer a suitable solution based on the situation. – For small problems, we provide free repair parts and a clear guide video. – For functional problems, we can replace the product with a new one. – For batch issues, we support return and refund or discounted replacement supply.

Repair parts or replacement products will be sent within 5–7 working days after the solution is confirmed.
