1. What’s the difference between liquid-filled and gas-filled thermostatic heads?

The liquid-filled thermostatic valve head contains heat-sensitive liquid. It uses the stable, predictable thermal expansion and contraction of the liquid within the working temperature range to drive the actuator. It delivers a stable output force and adjusts gently. The structure is quite simple, and it’s not affected by vibrations during transportation and installation. It also has good long-term stability.

The gas-filled thermostatic valve head is filled with inert gas. Temperature changes quickly affect gas pressure, which then drives the valve stem to adjust. It responds fast and is highly sensitive. For customizations that don’t require product structure changes—like only LOGO engraving or regular packaging customization —the MOQ is 3,000 pieces. For long-term cooperation with customers with stable purchase volumes, we can negotiate a minimum of 2,000 pieces. Specific details are subject to order communication.

If you have special requirements that need new mold development, such as custom valve body shapes, temperature-sensing cavity structures, special interfaces, or exclusive surface treatment processes, the MOQ for OEM orders with new mold development is usually 5,000 pieces. This covers mold development costs and ensures production batch economy.

If you’re a long-term strategic partner and commit to continuous re-orders in the future, we can discuss a mold cost-sharing plan. The MOQ can then be reduced appropriately. Specific details need to be confirmed through mutual negotiation.

5. Are multilingual manuals available for the thermostatic head?
