FAQs of PPR Stainless Steel Y Strainer Ball Valve

1. How to detect the PPR interface hot melt strength of the Y strainer ball valve?

Plumberstar manufactures tensile testing in accordance with GB/T 18742. After a hot-melt connection, the joint must meet the following tensile strength requirements: DN20 interface,≥3.8 kN; DN32 interface,≥5.5 kN; DN50 interface,≥8.5 kN. After testing, there must be no joint separation or cracking.

Each production batch is randomly sampled and sent to SGS for third-party testing. Official test reports can be provided upon request.

In addition, Plumberstar’s factory laboratory is equipped with professional tensile testing machines, and customers are welcome to witness the testing process on site.

2. How is the PPR socket attached to the stainless steel body?

Plumberstar PPR stainless steel Y strainer ball valve uses a composite connection structure. It combines the PPR union socket end with the stainless steel valve body into one piece.

Both ends of the valve body feature widened, thickened locking steps, inverted tooth-clamping grooves, and positioning grooves. These are different from ordinary smooth cylindrical ends. We also use sandblasting or wire drawing to improve surface roughness. This increases the contact area and friction between metal and plastic, making the connection stronger.

During production, the PPR union end is directly injection-molded onto the stainless steel valve body using precision molds. High-temperature molten PPR flows fully into the preset grooves. When it cools, it forms a stable mechanical interlocking structure. We also add a stainless steel locking bushing inside for a second lock. This effectively prevents loosening caused by long-term hot-and-cold water cycles or pressure changes.

With multiple mechanical locking and material-matching designs, we completely avoid problems at the structural level. These include PPR and stainless steel separating, interface shrinking, deformation, and leaking. This ensures the valve works stably for a long time under complex working conditions.

3. How is the PPR Y-type filter ball valve quality traceability system?

Plumberstar PPR stainless steel Y-type filter ball valve uses a complete, traceable quality management system. From raw materials to finished products, every step is recorded, marked by batch, and filed for inspection. This lets us quickly find problem sources, trace production batches, and clarify responsibilities.

For raw materials, each batch of brass or stainless steel comes with a Material Test Report. We sample and test the materials with spectral analysis. We check if key elements like copper and stainless steel ingredients match the report. Approved materials get a unique internal batch number. This number follows the whole production process.
Each batch of PPR also has supplier batch info and performance data. We assign our own internal batch number. This way, both plastic and metal materials can be fully traced.

During production, key steps have standard process cards and operation records. These steps include injection molding, machining, assembly, pressure testing, and filter cleaning tests. We record equipment settings, operators, time, and environment in detail. Every product gets a unique production batch number. It stays with the product throughout all manufacturing and testing.

With this batch management and record system, we control quality from start to finish. This makes sure our product quality is stable and reliable.

4. What are the PPR Y strainer ball valve’s environmental and energy-saving advantages?

Plumberstar sticks to green production and energy-saving design.  We use food-grade PPR and 304/316 stainless steel. They are fully recyclable and meet RoHS 2.0 and REACH standards.

We run a closed-loop water circulation system. It boosts the water utilization rate up to 95%. Our injection workshops are fitted with waste gas treatment equipment. All emissions meet national standards.

We optimize the flow channel design. The resistance coefficient is ≤1.2, cutting pressure drop loss by 25% compared with traditional split-type products. It reduces pump operation energy consumption. You can save a lot on electricity bills with long-term use.

The filter can be cleaned repeatedly. No need for replacements, which cuts down waste. Seals are made of degradable materials. They won’t pollute the environment when discarded. Choose Plumberstar, and you choose green, energy-saving, and sustainable fluid control solutions.

5. Can our logo be added to the PPR Y strainer ball valve?

Plumberstar PPR stainless steel Y-type filter ball valves fully support custom, exclusive logos. You can put your brand logo in many places — product body, PPR joints, handles, and packaging.

All logo processes are done in our own factory, following strict standards. This makes sure logos are clear, firm, and long-lasting. They won’t fall off or fade. And logo customization won’t affect the product’s structural strength or sealing performance.

For logo processes:

  • Stainless steel valve body: We use laser engraving or etching. This makes fine, durable brand info.
  • PPR hot-melt end: We can use mold stamping or laser marking for an integrated look.
  • Handle and cap: We can print, engrave, or make a custom mold for them.
  • Product nameplate: We can customize it with your exclusive technical parameters and brand info. This meets export market logo requirements.

Before mass production, we’ll send you a complete logo rendering. You can check and confirm it. We want to make sure the look matches your brand. We’ll start mass production only after you approve.

Logo customization is part of our standard production process. It won’t delay normal delivery. This way, you get brand customization and a stable supply at the same time.

6. Can the PPR Y strainer ball valve be produced according to our drawings?

Of course. Plumberstar has a mature, standardized custom production system. We can make PPR stainless steel Y-type filter ball valves exactly according to your drawings and technical requirements. The structure, performance, and parameters can all match precisely.

  • Our technical team has rich experience in reading drawings. They can accurately understand the key design points in 2D and 3D drawings, including size, tolerance, material, sealing structure, interface standard, and pressure level.
  • For special designs in your drawings, such as non-standard interfaces, custom filtration precision, or higher pressure requirements, we will do a full feasibility check and process verification. We will give you a detailed technical plan and production suggestions within 1 working day to make sure the design can be realized.
  • For quality control, we add an extra drawing parameter check to our standard inspection process. We must finish the first sample confirmation before mass production to ensure all key sizes and performance meet your drawing requirements. During mass production, we check key dimensions and performance for each batch to avoid batch differences.

All finished products go through full testing before delivery. We also provide a complete inspection report with the order. The final product will be 1:1, consistent with your original drawings and suitable for engineering and project use.
