PPR Stainless Steel Y Strainer Ball Valve
PPR Stainless Steel Y Strainer Ball Valve
Stainless Steel Y Strainer Ball Valve
This 304 stainless steel Y-type filter ball valve uses a stainless steel body and a red handwheel. It has a Y-shaped flow design. One end connects with a PPR hot-melt, and the other end uses a male thread. A side drain port with a sealing plug is built into the valve body. The valve is suitable for water and mildly corrosive fluids. It is often used in commercial central air conditioning systems, industrial water purification branches, and floor heating main lines. This valve combines filtering and shut-off functions in one unit, replacing the traditional ball valve plus a separate filter setup.

1. How to detect the PPR interface hot melt strength of the Y strainer ball valve?
Plumberstar manufactures tensile testing in accordance with GB/T 18742. After a hot-melt connection, the joint must meet the following tensile strength requirements: DN20 interface,≥3.8 kN; DN32 interface,≥5.5 kN; DN50 interface,≥8.5 kN. After testing, there must be no joint separation or cracking. Each production batch is randomly sampled and sent to SGS for third-party testing. Official test reports can be provided upon request. In addition, Plumberstar’s factory laboratory is equipped with professional tensile testing machines, and customers are welcome to witness the testing process on site.

2. How is the PPR socket attached to the stainless steel body?
The Plumberstar PPR Y strainer ball valve uses an integrated over‑molded design with metal inserts and PPR material. The PPR pipe connector and stainless‑steel valve body lock tightly together. This cuts possible leak points. Ordinary split joints often suffer from assembly errors and loose connections.
The connecting end of the valve body has several mechanical locking features. These include widened locking shoulders, ring‑shaped barbs, and locating slots. It is not like simple, smooth cylinder connectors. You can choose a sandblasted or wire‑drawn finish for the metal surface. Surface roughness sits between Ra 3.2‑6.3 μm. When PPR is injection molded, it fully wraps and sinks into these locking areas with the help of pre‑made slots and barbs. The bond between PPR and stainless steel can resist a strong pulling force.
PPR material is molded directly onto the pre‑machined stainless‑steel connecting end. Injection temperature usually stays around 210‑230 °C. Workers adjust temperature based on melt status, filling performance, and molding stability. Hot liquid PPR flows into the ring grooves and barb areas on the valve body. It forms firm mechanical locks once it cools down and hardens.
Standard‑size products reach nominal working pressure 1.6 MPa. Real pressure capacity changes with valve bore size, PPR material quality, and working temperature. Mechanical interlock, insert over‑molding, and precise size matching work together. Joints between PPR and stainless steel are less likely to loosen, deform, or leak after long-term use. This valve fits cold‑hot water and regular water supply pipeline systems.
3. How is the PPR Y strainer ball valve quality traceability system?
Plumberstar PPR stainless steel Y strainer ball valve uses a complete, traceable quality management system. From raw materials to finished products, every step is recorded, marked by batch, and filed for inspection.
For raw materials, each batch of brass or stainless steel comes with a Material Test Report. We sample and test the materials with spectral analysis. We check if key elements like copper and stainless steel ingredients match the report. Approved materials get a unique internal batch number. This number follows the whole production process. Each batch of PPR also has supplier batch info and performance data. We assign our own internal batch number. This way, both plastic and metal materials can be fully traced.
During production, key steps have standard process cards and operation records. These steps include injection molding, machining, assembly, pressure testing, and filter cleaning tests. We record equipment settings, operators, time, and environment in detail. We keep these for at least 24 months. Every product gets a unique production batch number.
4. What are the PPR Y strainer ball valve’s environmental and energy-saving advantages?
Plumberstar sticks to green production and energy-saving design. We use food-grade PPR and 304/316 stainless steel. They are fully recyclable and meet RoHS 2.0 and REACH standards.
We run a closed-loop water circulation system. It boosts the water utilization rate up to 95%. Our injection workshops are fitted with waste gas treatment equipment. All emissions meet national standards.
We optimize the flow channel design. The resistance coefficient is ≤1.2, cutting pressure drop loss by 25% compared with traditional split-type products. It reduces pump operation energy consumption. You can save a lot on electricity bills with long-term use.
The filter can be cleaned repeatedly. No need for replacements, which cuts down waste. Seals are made of degradable materials. They won’t pollute the environment when discarded. Choose Plumberstar, and you choose green, energy-saving, and sustainable fluid control solutions.
5. Can the PPR Y strainer ball valve be produced according to our drawings?
Of course. Plumberstar has a mature, standardized custom production system. We can make PPR stainless steel Y-type filter ball valves exactly according to your drawings and technical requirements. The structure, performance, and parameters can all match precisely.
- Our technical team has rich experience in reading drawings. They can accurately understand the key design points in 2D and 3D drawings, including size, tolerance, material, sealing structure, interface standard, and pressure level.
- For special designs in your drawings, such as non-standard interfaces, custom filtration precision, or higher pressure requirements, we will do a full feasibility check and process verification. We will give you a detailed technical plan and production suggestions within 1 working day to make sure the design can be realized.
- For quality control, we add an extra drawing parameter check to our standard inspection process. We must finish the first sample confirmation before mass production to ensure all key sizes and performance meet your drawing requirements. During mass production, we check key dimensions and performance for each batch to avoid batch differences.
All finished products go through full testing before delivery. We also provide a complete inspection report with the order. The final product will be 1:1, consistent with your original drawings and suitable for engineering and project use.
