The main factor that affects load-bearing strength is the thickness of the material. For household models, the thickness is usually 0.5–0.8 mm, and they can carry about 5–10 kg. For commercial or industrial models, the thickness can reach 1.0–1.5 mm, and the normal load-bearing capacity increases to 15–30 kg. Some extra-thick models can even carry more than 50 kg.

The structure design is also very important. A sink basket made with an integrated stamped bottom has no welding gaps, so the force is spread more evenly. This type can hold 20%–30% more weight than baskets made by welding separate parts. 5. Can the filter aperture of the floor sink basket be adjusted?

We can adjust the hole size and grid density of the floor sink basket to match different customer needs.

According to the impurity interception requirements of different scenarios, the conventional filter aperture can be adjusted within the range of 0.5 mm to 10 mm, and the grid density can be matched correspondingly. For example, in food processing areas, where small food pieces need to be caught, we can make very small holes with a dense grid, usually below 1 mm. In industrial workshops, where fast drainage is needed, and only large metal pieces must be stopped, we can use larger holes above 5 mm with a lower grid density.

This way, the basket can both filter well and keep water flowing smoothly in different working environments.

6. How long is the validity period of the ground sink basket quotation?

Our quotation period of validity is typically 30 days. During this period, if the customer confirms the order, it will be strictly implemented in accordance with the quotation. If the quotation exceeds 30 days, it will need to be recalculated based on the actual situation at the time of ordering. About raw material price changes, we have clear rules to protect both sides.

If a formal contract is signed within the valid time of the quotation and the advance payment is paid as agreed, the quoted price will stay the same. Even if the prices of stainless steel, nickel bronze, or other main materials go up, we will not change the price.

If the quotation time has expired or the order is not confirmed in time, and the raw material price changes by more than 5%, the quotation will be adjusted based on the latest market price. Before any price change, we will talk with the customer first and give a clear explanation of the new price.

7. Are the edges of Plumberstar’s sink basket scratch-resistant?

Plumberstar sink baskets are made with special scratch-resistant edge treatment. The edges are rounded and polished very carefully.

First, all sharp edges are smoothed and rounded to a safe curve, so they are not easy to cut hands. This is done with precise machines to make the corners safe and even. Then, the edges are finished with mirror or matte polishing, so the surface becomes smooth, clean, and free of burrs. This not only helps prevent scratches but also makes it harder for oil and water stains to stick to the edges.

For heavy-duty industrial models, we add an extra edge-folding process. This makes the edges stronger, improves load-bearing ability, and still keeps good scratch resistance and safety.
