4. PPR interface weld strength specific test data?

After a hot melt connection, tensile strength ≥1.2MPa, after 1000 times of cold and hot cycle test (-10℃~70℃), the interface does not fall off, no leakage; according to the GB/T 18742.3-2017 standard test, the weld fracture occurs in the pipe body, not the interface, to ensure the reliability of the connection.

7.  What quality tests are performed on each batch of PPR Ball Valve?

Carry out “full inspection + sampling” double detection, core items, and practical operations:

  •  Material composition detection: brass valve body detected by direct reading spectrometer (detect Cu, Zn, Pb and other elements, Cu≥59%, Pb≤0.01%), use infrared spectrometer to detect PPR material (Confirm random copolymer polypropylene composition, no impurities), take 3 samples from each batch, and issue composition analysis report.
  •  PPR interface detection: Use a wall thickness micrometer to detect the interface wall thickness (Deviation ≤ ±0.1mm), and check the inner diameter with a go gauge/stop gauge to ensure the pipeline is suitable.
  •  Hydraulic pressure test: the automatic tester pressurizes one by one, records the pressure curve, and immediately identifies and isolates the unqualified products.
  •  Sealing performance test: Immerse the valve in water, pressurize to 1.2 times the rated pressure, and observe for 3 minutes to ensure no bubbles overflow.
  •  Appearance test: Sample according to AQL 1.0 standard, test the surface color (ΔE≤1.5) with colorimeter, and test the surface hardness (≥HB200) with scratch tester; provide factory inspection report (COA) containing test data, operator and equipment number for each batch, support re-inspection by third-party organization designated by customers, and cooperate with us to provide test samples and operation methods.

8. How to verify the authenticity of PPR Ball Valve materials?

Provide triple validation:

  • 1) Material Certificate (MTC): Including raw material supplier qualification, furnace number, component detection original data, traceable to Baosteel/CNPC, and other sources.
  • 2) On-site detection support: customers can carry a portable spectrometer (such as SPECTROPORT) to the factory, random sampling of finished products, testing of metal components of valve body, we provide testing position marks (Avoid the sealing surface and take samples at the side of the valve body).
