This distribution manifold is used to split fluid from one main line into several branch lines. Its main job is to make sure each branch gets a steady and even flow. It has multiple ports arranged in a balanced layout, allowing several branch pipes to be connected simultaneously. This helps keep the piping neat and the flow consistent. It is commonly used in systems such as underfloor heating, central air conditioning, and water supply or drainage systems. Keeping the flow more even across all branches helps avoid imbalance and improves overall system performance.
This lead-free brass ball valve is made for PEX piping systems and is used to turn water flow on or off. featuring socket connectors on both ends that enable direct, secure connection to PEX pipes without additional adapters. The white extended handle opens or closes the valve with a simple 90° turn, making operation fast and easy. It is suitable for PEX water supply lines, drainage systems, and underfloor heating pipes.

FAQs of Distribution Manifold
1. Is the body of the distribution manifold extruded or welded?
Plumberstar distribution manifolds are made with an integrated one-piece process. We use either solid forging or precision casting combined with CNC machining. This structural design significantly boosts mechanical strength and overall stability. It enables the manifolds to operate reliably under high-pressure conditions. They fit a wide range of HVAC and water supply systems. It also meets the strict requirements for product consistency and reliability. Perfect for our OEM/ODM customization projects.
2. Can you provide a material composition report for the distribution manifold?
We fully support your requests for material composition reports. We can provide spectral composition analysis reports based on different product types. These reports are issued either by our in-house laboratory or third-party authoritative testing agencies.
Brass products
The report will clearly show the content ratio of copper, zinc, lead, iron, and other elements. It verifies whether the product meets low-lead or lead-free regulations and standards for different markets.
Stainless steel products
The report will clearly list the content of key elements like chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. It helps determine the material grade (such as 304 and 316). And ensures its corrosion resistance meets application requirements.
Plumberstar guarantees the material composition of every batch of products you purchase is consistent. All products meet quality and compliance requirements.
3. Can a new distribution manifold be developed from our technical drawings?
Product customization is one of Plumberstar’s core businesses. We can fully tailor products to your needs.
You just need to provide a design idea or technical drawing. We’ll turn it into a production-ready product that fits your target market.
Our engineers will fully understand your design intent from the drawings’ size, tolerances, and material specifications. They’ll also evaluate production feasibility at the same time.
We won’t change the core design. Instead, we’ll give reasonable optimization suggestions based on our manufacturing experience. It helps the product achieve a better balance between performance, manufacturability, and cost control.
After the prototype solution is confirmed, we’ll start developing production molds. Once the molds are ready, we’ll make the first sample. We’ll also provide you with a detailed inspection report.
Only after getting your formal confirmation will the project enter the mass production phase.
4. How to ensure consistency across each distribution manifold batch?
We ensure consistent quality across each batch of water separators through systematic quality control measures. Details are as follows:
Source Control of Raw Materials
We conduct random inspections using spectrometers, hardness testers, and other testing equipment. We verify the material composition and physical properties. This ensures the stability and consistency of the raw materials’ basic properties. It avoids batch differences from the very start.
Process Consistency Control
The casting, forging, and CNC machining of water separators are all done by automatic equipment. Core process parameters are locked and managed. Each piece of equipment is equipped with a parameter recording and traceability system. It stores production data in real time. This ensures consistent process conditions and production procedures across batches.
Four-Level Quality Inspection System
We’ve set up a complete IQC-IPQC-FQC-OQC four-level quality inspection system:
In-process inspection (IPQC): Randomly select about 10% of semi-finished products from each batch. Test key indicators such as size accuracy, interface verticality, and the thread go/no-go gauge.
Finished product inspection (FQC): All finished products undergo 100% pressure resistance and sealing tests. Maintain pressure at 1.5 times the rated pressure for at least 30 minutes.
Delivery inspection (OQC): Each distribution manifold batch is assigned a unique batch number. Check the batch information, appearance condition, and packaging integrity again before delivery. Ensure no inspections are missed and no deliveries are incorrect.
5. Do you offer flexible payment terms for the distribution manifold?
Yes, Plumberstar offers flexible payment terms for our partnerships.
Initial Cooperation Phase
For new customers’ first few orders, we use the industry-standard telegraphic transfer (T/T) method. Pay a 30%-50% deposit upfront to start production. The balance is paid before delivery.
Stable Cooperation Phase
After one year of continuous, stable cooperation, we can negotiate more flexible payment methods. These include: Cut the advance deposit ratio down to 10%-20%
Pay against a copy of the bill of lading: After you pay the deposit, we arrange production and delivery. Once the goods are shipped, we send you the B/L copy. You then pay the balance, and we mail the original documents. This can help you reduce capital occupation by 15–30 days.
Strategic Partnership Phase
For long-term, high-volume core customers, we provide deeper payment support. These include: Settle large orders via letter of credit (L/C), with standard security terms
Offer open account (O/A) terms after strict credit evaluation. You can pay 30 or 60 days after receiving the goods.
6. Do you have successful cases with distribution manifold customers?
Yes, Plumberstar has successful cases with distribution manifold customers.
Marcus is a German HVAC wholesaler. He used to work with suppliers that offered low prices and decent-looking products. But 5% of the manifold leaked slightly within one year. This didn’t just lead to end-customer complaints and claims. It also ruined the brand reputation he’d built up over the years. The maintenance costs were much higher than the savings he made on purchase prices. Plumberstar engineers found the root cause. They optimized the groove tolerances and replaced the O-rings with temperature-resistant ones. We quickly prepared optimized samples and sent them to Marcus—no extra cost. After the samples passed his tests, we locked all production indicators into standard operating procedures (SOP). Things like brass rod formula, CNC machining paths, and pressure test parameters. These SOPs served as the basis for all subsequent orders. In the past three years, Marcus has sold over 50,000 sets of manifolds. The on-site failure rate dropped from 5% to less than 0.01%. He confidently extended the product warranty by one year, turning this into a competitive edge. He reconnected his brand with the labels of “reliability” and “high quality”. Now he’s seeing both a better reputation and higher profits.
7. Can we specify the number of hot and cold water outlets for the distribution manifold?
Of course you can. You just need to provide CAD drawings or hand-drawn sketches with size annotations. Even plain text descriptions work for us. For example: “Water separator with total length 800 mm. 4 hot water outlets on the left, 6 cold water outlets on the right. Outlet center distance 80 mm. All outlets use NPT thread.” Our engineers will complete the structural design based on your needs. After the solution is confirmed, we’ll make samples for you. This ensures the product fully meets your usage and market requirements.
Test products in the laboratory
8. Do you support small-batch trial orders for distribution manifolds?
Of course. The MOQ for small batch trial orders can be as low as 50 sets. If you need to customize basic configurations—such as thread specifications or the number of interfaces—the trial order MOQ can also be adjusted through negotiation. Plumberstar will do our best to minimize the cost and risk of your trial order.
