FAQs of Automatic Exhaust Valve
1. What material is the float of the Automatic Exhaust Valve made of? The floats of our
Plumberstar automatic air release valves are mainly made of SS304 or plastic. How to choose the material of the float can be based on the following information: 1. Stainless steel float ◦ Good density and stability. Enable the air release valve to open and close sensitively, effectively discharging the air in the pipeline. ◦ Suitable for environments requiring high temperature and pressure resistance, such as hot water heating systems and steam systems. 2. Plastic float ◦ Usually used in applications that are cost-sensitive or have specific requirements for chemical resistance. ◦ Common plastic float materials include polypropylene (PP), hollow plastic, and rigid foam polyurethane.
2. Do you have experience in manufacturing automatic air release valves for the European market? Yes, we have over five years of experience in exporting
automatic exhaust valves to the European market. We have a good understanding of the technical specifications, certification requirements, and market preferences of the European plumbing and HVAC industries, which has enabled our products to have an excellent track record in residential heating and commercial water supply projects in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Northern Europe. The main compliance aspects of the Automatic Exhaust Valves we manufacture are as follows: • Certifications: Compliant with CE, RoHS, and ISO 9001 standards. • Design and Materials: Designed in accordance with European standards, our valves use stainless steel or PP floats. They can be applied in central heating systems. • Quality Control: The factory conducts strict 100% pressure testing and leakage testing. This ensures that products meet EU performance standards before shipment.
3. Can the Automatic Exhaust Valve provide a factory inspection report and material certificates? Yes! Plumberstar even provides factory inspection reports and material certificates for automatic air release valves free of charge. The factory inspection report includes 100% of the test items for the products during the production process. It includes pressure resistance testing, tightness testing, exhaust efficiency testing, and dimensional accuracy inspection. All these tests are conducted in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality management standards and the requirements of the EU CE certification. The quality inspection report will cover the testing of raw materials before production. The testing of each step during the production process, and the final integrity testing before packaging. All these will be recorded in detail to ensure the traceability of quality. Regarding material certificates, we will issue corresponding certificates based on the materials used in the products (such as PP floats). The certificates include material composition, performance indicators, and compliance with RoHS environmental protection standards. We will match the material certificates one-to-one with the batch numbers of the delivered goods.

5. What is the standard for the machining accuracy of the Automatic Exhaust Valve? The machining accuracy of
Plumberstar automatic air release valves strictly complies with ISO 286 and DIN 323. Critical dimensions are controlled within the IT8–IT10 accuracy grade range. Brass valve body: The dimensional tolerance of the internal sealing cavity is controlled within ±0.05mm. Threaded interface: (The EU market adopts the G/BSP standard, and the US market adopts the NPT standard). It uses Class A thread accuracy, with a pitch error of ≤ 0.02mm. It can be directly matched with standard pipe fittings. Float assembly (PP): The roundness error of the float surface is ≤ 0.03mm. It can accurately respond to changes in air pressure in the pipeline. The fit tolerance between the float and the valve seat is H7/h6, ensuring the sensitivity of the exhaust and closing functions. Valve core and sealing ring: The flatness of the valve core’s sealing surface is ≤ 0.02mm. Equipped with an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) sealing ring with a tolerance of ±0.04mm, the sealing pressure resistance can reach 16bar without leakage.
