The liquid-filled thermostatic valve head contains heat-sensitive liquid. It uses the stable, predictable thermal expansion and contraction of the liquid within the working temperature range to drive the actuator. Their response time is slower, from 30 to 90 seconds. The control gap stays between 0.4 K and 0.8 K. Liquids are not easily disturbed by outside conditions. It delivers a stable output force and adjusts gently. The structure is quite simple, and it’s not affected by vibrations during transportation and installation. It also has good long-term stability.

This thermostatic valve head uses inert gas inside. When temperatures shift, the gas pressure changes right away, pushing the valve rod to move and adjust flow. Gas-filled thermostatic bulbs work using expanding gas. In standard tests, their response time takes 10 to 40 seconds. Gas pressure shifts easily, so the temperature control gap sits between 0.8 K and 1.2 K.It reacts super quickly and picks up small temperature differences easily, so it works great for heating systems that need fast temperature responses. Still, since it’s so sensitive, the whole part has to be sealed extra well and made with very precise craftsmanship.
