Of course, Plumberstar can provide MTR material test reports for stainless steel elbows. All pipes and forgings we use for elbows come from regular steel mills. Each batch of materials has an original material report and a heat number when it enters the factory.

We record every step starting the moment raw materials arrive at our warehouse. We write down heat numbers, batch numbers, material grades, and product sizes for all incoming stock. Thanks to this system, we can trace each finished elbow back to its original metal raw material. When your goods are ready to ship, we will offer you an MTR report that perfectly matches your order batch. This file contains all core details, including chemical composition, mechanical performance, heat treatment records, and official material standards.

3. What is the difference between seamless and welded elbows? 

Seamless elbow parts are made from seamless pipes; there’s no straight weld seam on their surface. This manufacturing method can preserve the metal’s internal grain structure well, so many buyers choose it for pipelines that work under high pressure. As long as you pick the right material grade and set a proper wall thickness during design, these elbows work great for oil and gas pipelines that carry fluid under high pressure.

Welded elbow pieces cost far less overall, especially for big pipelines sized DN500 or larger. People use them a lot in city water supply lines, chemical factories, and all kinds of industrial piping. 4. What is the stainless steel elbow pipe quality control standard?

Plumberstar uses strict, unified, and traceable quality control for stainless steel elbows. We cover every step from raw material incoming to finished product delivery.

  • For raw materials, we only use 304, 316L, and other materials from regular steel mills. Each batch comes with the original MTR material report. We do spectral testing and check chemical composition and mechanical properties. Materials are only stored after passing inspection.
  • We strictly control outer diameter, inner diameter, wall thickness, center distance, radius, angle, and port flatness. All follow standard drawings and tolerance rules.
