1. What are the connection methods of pressure-reducing valves?
Our brass pressure reducing valves have three standard connection types to fit different installation scenarios: thread, flange, and weld end.
The thread connection covers the most usage scenarios, supporting DN15 to DN50 nominal sizes. We mass produce two common thread standards: G/BSP threads for Europe, the Middle East, and Asia markets, and NPT threads for North American engineering jobs.
Flange style seals by clamping valve and pipe flange faces with 4–8 standard bolts plus flat rubber gaskets, suitable for high-flow pipelines DN65 and larger. Weld ends fuse valve bodies and metal pipes via full penetration welding with zero assembly gaps, mostly used on industrial heating and water supply lines that run long-term with no regular disassembly.

2. Does the pressure-reducing valve meet low-lead standards?
Plumberstar pressure-reducing valves meet international low-lead safety standards. They are made for markets with strict drinking water health rules. All parts that touch water use low-lead or lead-free brass. This includes valve bodies and valve cores. We control lead content within safe international limits. They meet low-lead requirements. These include NSF/ANSI 372, NSF/ANSI 61 in the US, EU drinking water standards, and other major markets.
3. Can our logo be added to the pressure-reducing valve?

4. Can you pre-set the pressure-reducing valve to a specific pressure before shipping?
We pre-set pressure for all brass pressure-reducing valves right at our factory. Once each valve is fully put together, we adjust the outlet pressure on special test benches. Digital pressure gauges here read accurately within ±0.02 bar. We tune pressure values exactly to match your pipe system data.
We lock the pressure by tightening the regulating nut after calibration. During tuning, we feed steady inlet water pressure between 1.5–6 bar and wait until readings hold flat before locking the nut. After finishing the setup, each valve rests for 15 minutes, then we recheck the outlet pressure again.
We only use dedicated tuning tools during the whole process, no modifications to internal parts or factory original adjustment range. Once pre-set work finishes, we fasten the adjustment parts against loosening and stick a label marked with set pressure data, making your field installation and system debugging easier. If your pipeline working conditions change later, you can still re-adjust pressure within the valve’s original design range.
5. How long does it take to customize a pressure-reducing valve?
Plumberstar’s pressure-reducing valve customization time depends on several things. These include your custom needs, new molds, order quantity, and special processes. We follow standard steps from demand confirmation to shipment. If you only need regular customizations on our existing products, like laser engraving or die-casting your logo on the valve body.Or customizing the gauge dial, presetting outlet pressure, changing thread specs (BSP, NPT, etc.).Or adjusting packaging, adding brand logos. These don’t need changing product structure or new molds. The customization time is fast.
After you confirm your needs and design drawings,we can finish samples in 7–10 working days for you to check. Mass production takes 20–30 working days. If your custom needs are more complex, like changing product structure, non-standard sizes, or special materials.Or modifying the internal structure for market certifications. These need new molds. The customization time will be longer. We first finish product design, mold development, mold debugging, and sample testing. We start mass production only after the sample meets standards and you confirm it. The total time is about 45 working days. Before we start, we will tell you the node clearly each time. This lets you plan your project and market in advance.
During the whole customization process, we keep in close contact with you. We update you on progress at every step. From demand docking, plan confirmation, sample making, to mass production and shipment. We also have an expedited service. For urgent orders like engineering projects, we can adjust production schedules. We allocate special production capacity within a reasonable range. We try our best to shorten the time. 6. Can you provide the product performance test report?
