1. Do you use a full‑sleeve or a simple rod magnet design for magnetic water filters?

Plumberstar magnetic water filters come with two main structural designs. Most regular models use a fully enclosed sleeve-style magnet build. We can also make a straight magnetic rod version if you need it. It fits different market demands and installation environments.

Our standard magnetic water filters have an integrated stainless steel protective sleeve around the inner magnet. The magnet is fully separated from the running water, never touching the water directly.

2.  Do you support the 3rd-party inspection for the magnetic water filter

Yes, Plumberstar allows third-party inspection for our magnetic water filters. This is a standard, well-run way of working with big overseas buyers, engineering projects, and brand clients. We are ready to work fully with any customer-assigned inspection agency, like TUV and SGS audits. They can conduct pre-factory checks, random sampling, and full-container inspections at every production stage.

We get all batch records, quality documents, and certification papers ready ahead of third-party inspections. Inspectors can check each magnetic water filter one by one. They’re able to verify the valve body material, surface finish, filter structure, pressure resistance, sealing performance, and overall dimensions.

We also allow on-site random sampling for water pressure tests, tightness checks, and visual quality inspection. Every finished product matches the order rules and industry standards exactly.

Inspectors can also check product packaging, carton printing, packing quantity, gross and net weight, and the loading of goods into containers. We strictly follow customer rules and inspection standards. We make the whole inspection process smooth and efficient.

Any batch that passes the third-party inspection will be sealed and stored properly in accordance with the AQL standard. This maintains the quality of all mass-produced magnetic water filters and other valves to the same level as the inspected filter samples.

3. Can the diameter of the magnetic water filter be customized?

Of course, we can adjust the overall caliber, inlet and outlet sizes, and valve body dimensions to match your pipeline needs, installation conditions, and local market standards.

We make custom sizes for small home pre-filters. also fit HVAC systems and commercial circulating pipelines. We tailor every diameter exactly to what you need.
It can be customized directly according to your drawings, ideas, or samples.
2D and 3D drawings will be provided based on the customer’s required magnetic core length, internal filter structure, and valve body shape for the new size. Your custom magnetic water filter will keep good flow performance. The magnetic filtering effect stays steady. Pressure resistance and sealing still meet our original factory standards. We will confirm all specifications, from raw materials to packaging, within 2 weeks, as usual.

Then, custom samples are used throughout the process. Check toolings, dimensions, installation fit, and real working performance. Only start mass production after your confirmation. This keeps you from running into pipeline mismatch or installation limits.

4. How to maintain the magnetic water filter in the Plumberstar factory?

4.1 Close the inlet and outlet ball valves.
4.2 Place a bucket or similar container below the drain valve to collect impurity debris. Take out the magnetic rod and store it in a safe place, then open the drain valve.
4.3 Open the ball valve at the water inlet end to flush out the residues.
4.4 After cleaning all the residues, close the ball valve at the water inlet end, and then reinstall the magnetic rod.
4.5 Filter screen cleaning: Use a wrench to unscrew the filter body, take out the filter screen, and clean the dirt inside and outside the filter screen with running water. After cleaning, reinstall it. It is recommended to clean the filter screen every six months.
4.6 After cleaning, introduce an appropriate amount of chemical additives into the system at the dra in port to protect the pipeline
After the operation, close the drain valve.
4.7 Open the water inlet and outlet valves, discharge air through the exhaust valve, and then close it. Check for any leaks.

5. Can the package of the magnetic water filter be customized

6. What is your process for developing samples and OEM magnetic water filter?

Plumberstar follows a complete, standard process to develop and confirm OEM samples for magnetic water filters.

We first talk through every custom detail with you. We go over product size, surface finish, inner magnetic core setup, valve body structure, logo engraving, and packaging needs. We sort through any drawings, reference samples, drinking water standards, or technical parameters you provide. Once all design rules and key details are settled, our factory approves the project and starts preparing materials for sample production.

After the first sample is made, we run full internal and thread connection checks. We perform water pressure tests, sealing checks, magnetic performance tests, and a full inspection of appearance and size. When the sample passes all performance and quality checks, we send it to you for final review. You can check the sample in every way after receiving it. Look over texture, installation fit, filtration effect, and overall artistry. If small changes are needed, we adjust structure, appearance, or details right away. We revise and remake samples until you are fully satisfied and sign off to confirm.

After you confirm the final sample, we seal it and keep it as the official standard for mass production. Every follow-up product is made to match the sample exactly in size, materials, and packaging.

7. How do you protect our intellectual property of proprietary filter design?

Plumberstar takes intellectual property protection very seriously for customers’ exclusive magnetic water filter designs.

• We sign a formal non-disclosure agreement with you right at the start of cooperation. It clearly states that your exclusive drawings, product structures, appearance designs, custom parameters, and packaging layouts are all strictly confidential. Our factory has clear internal rules against sharing your private designs with any third party.
• All your design files, technical data, and drawings are kept and managed by assigned staff. Access rights are tightly controlled. No random copying, outside sharing, or public display is allowed. Only staff directly involved in production can view related workshop materials.
• Custom molds and special tooling made just for you are stored and sealed separately. We never use them for other customers’ orders. They won’t be shown in public or shared with others in the industry.
